I was thinking of setting up a community Awards or Medals, small little trinkets that would appear below your name on forums. These would be very specific awards either pertaining to a specific event, milestone or just a Admin based reward. Thoughts on 5 awards/medals we can start with?

I actually did debate on this (with myself 👀) during the forum setup wether or not to have a Manga section. Given that I personally myself don't really dwel in manga I couldn't think of content to post. But if we get a few more users who would like this section I am more than happy to open it...

That would be awesome too, I have done this on a few other forums I manage, but wasn't sure what type of names to come up with for Otakuforums. Any suggestions on a specific theme we could follow for the naming structure? The current forum software should be able to support this ranking system...

That is not a bad idea at all, maybe a Creative Corner under Otaku Central? I just didn't want to launch the forums with too many forums and categories hence I had skipped that out from the forums during launch. But if users want it why not, I know alot of Otaku who are creative and I am sure...

I am open to hearing any ideas. I was thinking a logo change for valentines maybe 😅? but that is just cosmetics. Our user base is not that big for a huge event but we could try to go around and promote if we were to do one.

Seasonal animes are great, but when it comes to picking what anime to watch, I would usually go for what piques my interests. I do start some animes and abandon them half way because it was not what I expected it to be. 🙆‍♀️

So there’s been talk about Netflix buying Warner Bros, which feels pretty huge. That’s a lot of movies, shows, and big franchises under one platform. Do you think this is good or bad for fans? More convenience, or less choice? Curious to hear what everyone thinks...
