Opinions on seasonal anime?

Title. I'm not sure about you, but I personally avoid seasonal animes and try to look for animes that would interest me; not what's currently trending. I have tried to watch a few seasonal animes, but they just tire me after an episode or two. I have way more fun watching stuff that I actively searched for rather than whatever comes up on MAL, lol.

What do you think? What's your opinion on seasonal anime? Do you watch it? If so, why?

all good! seasonal anime is anime that airs in 12 episodes, grouped into the four seasons of summer, autumn (or fall), winter, and spring. it is often very popular and loads of people rush to go and watch whatever the newest stuff is.

Seasonal animes are great, but when it comes to picking what anime to watch, I would usually go for what piques my interests. I do start some animes and abandon them half way because it was not what I expected it to be.

You're all of us in this one mate. I think it goes too long that the story ends up not being what we initially looked for in it. Hence, the lost of interest along the way. I've dumped quite a number of anime as a result of that.

As for me, I am very interested in watching anime that scales up in their story concept, much like Bleach or even Gin Tama. Where as Bleach start with hollow hunting and then suddenly you are fighting in Soul Society Wow I still talk about Bleach lol

The truth is that some of them are good, I'm never going to write all of them off as not being good. It's just like how much I enjoyed Solo Leveling the same way you do with Bleach

Yes. Not everything in a genre or trend is bad, there are always a few that really shine.

Definitely! It's actually why we keep sticking around till today, even after having an experience with ones that never did well in their plot development.

This is also new to me, so thank you for the explanation It makes more sense now.

I can't say I have looked into seasonal anime, but now that I know more about it, I will be looking out for the new stuff as well as working my way through older series as well.
