I'm a PS5/PC gamer.

I love rpg game like Final Fantasy 9 in particulary.

Also, I've just finished two times Clair Obscur Expedition 33!!! Oh my god, I love this game so much ❤️😍!

I'm currently on Genshin Impact on PS5.

Back in the past, I played often on World of Warcraft/Starcraft/Warframe.

Sometime, I play with my husband on Valheim or Minecraft/Fortnite with my son.

;)
 
What do you mean by "quiet gamer"? playing slow-paced games or something else? :D

I consider myself to be a retro gamer. I play games that i missed back in my childhood, like the ones i couldn't afford.. or the ones i know but didn't have the chance to play.

Mostly Nintendo games or revisiting old games like my favorites.. including DooM (turned 32 on December 10th!), Majora's Mask to name a few. The last old game that i played was Max Payne 3, somehow i didn't get to play it back then, it was released 11 years ago.
 
Final Fantasy 8, Final Fantasy 9. Final Fantasy 2, Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy Tactics, Suikoden 1, Suikoden 2, Golden Sun 1 and Golden Sun 2, Wakfu MMORPG, Ragnarok Online, Battle Realms, Red Alert 2 and Cabal Online are among my all time favourite video games. I know, old games, but now I'm just getting started to discover more and play more. Recommend me some ! :)

I'm that quiet gamer for sure. I don't like shouting and no rage, I just focus. When I used to play PES at home, people thought I wasn't enjoying it. Meanwhile on the inside, i was fully locked in. It's not everybody that wants to shout and break the controllers

Yeah, I get that. Not everyone shows excitement the same way - some people are just more focused and calm when they’re really into something. Being quiet doesn’t mean you’re not enjoying the game, it just means you’re locked in. Honestly, that kind of focus can make gaming even more satisfying than reacting loudly to everything.
 
I generally avoid being labeled as a gamer because I am a hobbyist gamer and I have limited time for gaming. However, I do enjoy gaming and when ever I have time and want to relax, I play games, I like sandbox games as well as simulation games.

Gaming as a way to relax sounds like a healthy balance. Sandbox and simulation games are great for that since you can play at your own pace without pressure. For my taste though, I'd want to delve and be immerse in a well made roleplayin game ^^
 
I would consider myself to be a casual gamer, I started back as a PC gamer during my high school era playing games on a Pentium 4 PC. Now more of a console gamer purely for the ease of gaming. Both PS5 and Switch, getting alot into Pokemon recently, just love how laid back and fun turn based games are rather than games that demand your full attention if not you lose. Recently got myself Legends Z-A but a bit dissapointed with the live action gameplay as opposed to the turn based like how Pokemon used to be, thinking of going backworks to Sword/Shield or older games. I do enjoy the GTA series and the older Need For Speed games, those were what I kind of grew up with.
 
Same. Started with Pentium 4 PC too, and PsOne lol
 
Those were the good old days, the days where we used to play what ever our PC can open haha.
 
It was supreme vibed! However, I regret for not using the PC for learning, but instead, only played computer games, most of the times...
 
I mean I did learn quite a bit of web development from youtube back in the days while I also played alot of games. Should've learned a bit more programming tho haha.

Yes. Which reminds me of Elon Musk learning programming by himself and made a computer game which he sold for 500 bucks(I think)..
I always wonder, as if there's huge gap between our generation, and the pioneers, in learning coding. Why does it as if it comes easy for them to learn and m aster the craft, whilst we on the other hand stumbling and fumbling all around, zz
 
Alot of my knowledge in programming comes from self learning. Although I studied computer science, I always did self learn programming languages. I think with the implementation of AI, the gap does exist. You don't need to know A-Z about programming nowadays, just some basics and you can code an app.

A game engine? Like unreal engine sort of thing? Is it complex to make a game engine?
 
Lol naa, that is gigantic undertaking. I'm thinking of replicating RPG Maker.
