So, basically, I dislike all the popular blogging platform out there. So, I'm wondering whether we can have blogs implemented on this site? I want to blog about my songwritings and game designs, it would prolly most increase the traffic to this site. Pls consider it!

Do you mean like user blogs? or as in a Anime blog for Otaku Forums? If it is userblogs we can start off with a private forum section while I look into any user blog plugins that forum can handle.

Yes, I meant user blogs The idea was to make the blog public though, so that the consistent blogging will appear on Google top search list, hence increasing traffic to this forums ^^

I see, I do get that. Let me look around and see if there are any user blog plugins that this forum can support. Which are not expensive

Yeah, plus we need a bit more users to get blogs up I guess.

Agreed, otherwise, it would just turn out to be ghost town area, where ppl would just waste time if there's no activity active in the blogs section

I did actually create my own blog. I have created a blog on Weebly. This happened a long time ago. I used a free domain to create a blog. Just like other have stated, my blog turned out to be a ghost town. Having said that, you need to be really patient if you want to start a blog.

That’s very true. Starting a blog is easy, but growing it takes time and consistency. Many blogs start as “ghost towns” at first. Patience and regular content are really the key.

Blogs are quite a different animal indeed, they require a lot of patience and if the content is not fed in consistently you can easily loose ranking on search engines. That is why I am a bit hesitant with setting up user blogs, unless we setup a separate forum where you can start a thread as a blog instead.. Might need to delve a bit deeper into this thought.

User Blogs System
Yeah, it's a bit pricey, but it looks pretty sweet. If I had a more active member base, requesting this feature on my forum, I'd add it. But I don't.
