I figured we could have a thread that's just for chatting with one another. Maybe make some life updates, commsimerate about the weather. Whatever comes to mind. c:
 
This past week, we've been in the 80s F (26+ C). But yesterday, it snowed. In my area, we've started spring a month ago, but we still occasionally get snowstorms all the way up into April.

Now it's cold. 🥹
 
I figure, If community chat is just about everything, since it is named as community chat, then whats the use of other chat thread. How about change the title to Life's Updates Thread, something like that.

Incidentally, speaking about Life's Updates, I'm updating and upgrading my life's goals. I basically now dabble seriously more than ever with my creative endeavours. Game design and development, novel writing, comic drawing, songwriting. :>

I've seen it on other community boards like this one. Sometimes people just talk about the weather, their dentist appointments, etc. Things that don't fit in other threads. i.e. small talk, as opposed to discussion.

"on other community boards"? Sorry but this one right here doesn't have to follow suit. Alright since you didnt get what I mean, lemme rephrase.

I get what you mean about small talk and casual updates, that makes sense, especially for things that don’t really fit into specific discussion threads. I’m not against the idea of having a space like that at all. I guess my point is more about clarity and how the name comes across to people browsing the forum. Since the forum already has multiple threads covering different topics, calling this one ‘Community Chat’ feels a bit too broad and might overlap with the purpose of other threads. For someone new, it could sound like this is the main or general thread for everything, rather than specifically for lighter, everyday conversations. That’s why I suggested something like ‘Life Updates Thread’ or ‘Casual Chat’ - just so it’s clearer that this is meant for small talk, daily happenings, and informal sharing. I think a more specific name would help people immediately understand what belongs here versus what should go into other discussions, and overall keep things a bit more organized.
Just my thoughts though - nothing against the idea itself

This week has been crazy busy at work, really looking forward to this weekend to finally carve some time and do the things I like to do. 🙂
 
Welp, today is for reading some books, i'm having some trouble finishing stuff from my backlog, i feel so overwhelmed by the amount of books that i need to finish (more than 10!!!)

i need at least a week off.
 
What is everyone upto on International Workers Day tomorrow? Does your country celebrate International workers day?
 
Been doing a bit of research into Final Fantasy series. I might get myself into FF soon. 🤞
 
Need to do rescheduling my routines the way I'd be more productive.
