Good morning, everyone 🥱
I'm Korok and I just joined, yahaha! I'm in my 30s, and didn't get into anime until my 20s. My favourites are Mushishi and Ghost in the Shell, though I've come across a lot of other gems, too (those ones are just my most repeat-watches). I found Otaku Forums through Administrata, also. I have periods where I talk very little, and periods where I ramble like a little ol' man-korok. There's no in-between with me. 🫠

Which anime have you rewatched the most?

Hi Korok. Welcome.

Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Fairy Tail, Demons Slayer, One Punch Man, Slam Dunk...that's about how far I could recall :>

Oooh, Demon Slayer's a good one! So is Naruto, but I'll never be able to finish it. Too long for me. (But a gem.)
Thanks for the welcome!

I'd say, Demon Slayer is the new candidate to be among the next Big Three. Except that, it's far too short to be considered as such.

Ahh Naruto. It ceased to be ninja-comic when they introduce the foreshadowing of tailed beast. for me, it shouldve supposed to be more like Fairy Tail path

Never seen fairy tail. How do you mean?

Fairy Tail. It's a manga with wizards living and doing missions together in each guild. Take Kenshin Himura in Rurouni Kenshin, but it's for Samurai dojo, this one's wizards, like how One Piece is about pirates, Naruto about ninja, Bleach about Soul Reaper

Why is it called Black Clover? I think it's the same question that goes with why is it call One Piece, why is it called Fairy Tail(and not Fairy Tale), they like playing with adjectives lolwut
Ifwe talk about Naruto for example it's naturally obviously understood :O

Because every mage gets bestowed a grimoire for their coming of age ceremony or something like that, and each grimoire has clover leaves on it. 1-4 clover leaves indicates the level of power they have (1 being the weakest, 4 being the strongest). I think the 4th clover leaf has something to do with luck or blessings, but I can't remember.

There's also a rare grimoire with 5 clover leaves, and it's called the Black Clover because the book is black. Unlike the rest, it has five clovers, and the fifth clover is associated with the devil/evil energies. They actually tell us this within the first few episodes, fortunately lol.

Interesting.
Incidentally, we have clovers here at our home with 8 leaves

I've never seen a 4 leafed clover, let alone an 8 leafed one. o: That's cool!

I've only heard from some diviner, and video games, that four leaves clover consider you lucky, as mentioned in Ragnarok Online.
Usually, the clovers we find in real life is 3 leaves, right? same with in Ragnarok Online too

Yeah, in some parts of the world. Three leafed clovers are the typical/common clover in some parts of the world. One type of clover (not sure which one, so not all typically three-leafed clovers have the possibility of sprouting four-leafed clovers or something) will occasionally sprout four leaves. Because these four leafed clovers are so rare, it's become a good luck charm/symbol.

Yes, exactly. I’ve heard it’s actually a genetic mutation in certain clover species, which is why four-leaf ones are so rare and seen as lucky.
