Have you decorated your room with anime stuff?

Title. I am mostly curious if anyone has decorated their room with their anime interests and how they did it. Unfortunately, I do not have many anime related things in my room asides a Hatsune Miku figure. If you haven't decorated your room but really want to, please tell me how you'd do it. Of course, I am sort of looking for some guidance..

The first and only time I have put an anime wallpaper onto my rooms wall was Vegeta launching his final flash. That's was around 2.5 decades ago....

When I moved into my own apartment ... three years ago now? I envisioned getting a bunch of posters of my favorite characters and some frames, and hanging them all up on the walls. I also wanted to start collecting the figurines as well too (I had a few Skuld ones before a messy divorce).

However, living in Boston, it's pretty expensive here, and $17/hour doesn't afford much money for passion spending, so, my walls are still bare, my desk only has a few quartz crystals on it and several bottles of Ibuprofen.

Perhaps if I get this higher paying job that's remote, I'll be able to invest in anime decorating pleasures-- I'll need them as I'll be doing customer support, but that's a different topic altogether.

If you do land that remote job, having a space that feels personal might actually make a big difference, especially doing customer support. Even something small like one framed print, a wall scroll, or a single centerpiece figure can change the vibe without breaking the bank. You don’t have to go full anime shrine right away.

If I do get this job, my pay will go up from sub-30K per year to $45K per year. So, I'll be able to "splurge".

Not originally, no. But while I was living in Japan, I bought some plushies for me and someone else I no longer talk to. I ended up keeping the plushies because they were like $20-40 each, though I sent them the rest of the stuff I got them (ended up costing a lot to ship anyway). So, now I have a Vaporeon and Jolteon (the two I originally got me), and an Espeon and Umbreon (what I got them), along with a couple of other pokemon related things I got from my life in Japan.

Ironically, I'm not a huge Pokemon fan, though Gen 1 and Gen 2 will always have special places in my heart. I'm glad I kept all the plushies, because they're my childhood favourites.

After I kept those and moved back home to my ma's (can't afford to live on my home in my home country, it's very expensive), she got me a pikachu ornament for christmas which I keep with the plushies, very cute.

I do have a lot of non-anime albeit artistic decorations, though, like my geisha fabric dolls, my inari handmade/handpainted ceramic bowl, a ceramc teapot, seaglass wind chime, paper cranes I've folded myself, fake plants, and firework-looking christmas lights I keep up all year round and use instead of the overhead light (they're not as bright and the colours help brighten my mood). My mum did a lot of the decorating as a surprise before I came home. It's so nice looking. I wish I had her skills lol.

on Pokemon, I've only played up to Ruby and Sapphire. Tried Black and White but the game turned out to be dead to me

My room has a Madoka Wallpaper, a Majora's Mask painting, a Hatsune miku figure, a Nyaruko figure and my sports medals/trophies.

I used to have LOTS of wallpapers including haruhi, clannad, h20 footprints in the sand, lucky star, evangelion, code geass, gundam 00 but that's back in my parent's house.

I can't stop having anime wallpapers on my phone though

I got one Naruto sticker I put on my laptop, I think that's enough. I like the idea because the environment can boost your mood, especially if it's something you love.

I have a very big wall poster of Nurato in my bed. He's my favourite anime character and that's why he has been on my wall the longest. I'll still put up another one very soon. Maybe it's going to be Money D Luffy I'm going to put up.

I have not decorated my room with anime stuff but I do love Funko Pops and I feel they would be a nice touch in my room should I consider adding some decoration to my room in terms of anime stuff.

Anything like posters I don't always like to add as I don't always like sticking things to my walls, but if I were able to put posters in a frame and hang them, that would also be something I would consider.
