I don't know about you, but I just love open-world games, and it got me thinking, what if we took an anime world and turned it into an open-world game?

Let's say this was possible, and you were asked by a game developer which anime universe you would like to see in an open-world video game, which anime universe would you choose?

Fairy Tail. Because they weave the concept and mechanic of quests and competitions so dynamic that I think for a sec there it actually surpasses Bleach, Naruto and One Piece. Those three are tied up tightly to their concepts. But Fairy Tail, it ended disappointingly, but I had always known it has huge dormant and potential to be a open world game

Hmm this is an interesting take, I mean DBZ Karakot was one of the games that came out not fully open world but somewhat open world. I can't think of an anime world that I would want to play in a open world game. But this is a interesting topic to watch.

Slayers too, to make it as open world game. They were too short and leaves more openings for sequel.

You mean as in Demon Slayers? If that's the case that would be a good open world map aswell, specially with the different arcs.

I may only say this . . . Naruto, One Piece, Bleach and even Dragon Ball Z and Demon Slayers could be adapted into RPG's.
But out of all these options, I think Fairy Tail, takes the cake. Because the opportunities in that series are literally everywhere. I say this because even tho Naruto, One Piece, Bleach and even Dragon Ball and Demon Slayers could be adapted into RPG, they are too tightly knotted into their concepts, to be considered free roaming stories. Naruto is too Ninja, One Piece is too pirates, Bleach is too Soul Reapers, Dragon Ball Z is too chi blast usages overdose, and Demon Slayers is too Demon slaying. Fairy Tail is too Wizards, but it's the only anime out of these options in this post that can be well-adapted into open world game. Why, because Fairy Tail already have the concept of guilds and dojos, and offering and undertaking of quests well embedded within the series.

EDIT: Slayers like Fairy Tail too. But it's too short
