Kuja from FF9. He's like Sephiroth (whom I also admire so much), but better! Both Kuja and Sephiroth wrecked cataclysmic havoc because they found there's no meaning to their lives, that they were just some war machines fabricated to do the biddings of those who sent and commanded them. From there on you know what happened. But no, Kuja went against God, Garland, the One who created him. His version of Trance was soo erosively and erasively chaotic that upon been defeated, his cries of despair about why his life has no meaning, prompted the Necron to return to the world of the living to revert everything back to zero. As Zidane then said "We are too far to lose now", Kuja could only watch from afar how Zidane and his friends fought for their everything, for their lives meanings. Even though Zidane and his team managed to defeat and repelled the Necron back to the Zero dimension, they were doomed because they were fighting in the colosseum within the void itself. At that moment, Kuja finally knew the meaning of this life. He used the last vestige and ounce of his power to bring Zidane and his friends back to the world of the living. He learnt that he was always meant to protect his little brother, Zidane, whom he was trying to eradicate before so. When the party decided to leave the desert, Zidane begged and decided to stay behind because, although knowing that Kuja might have died, Zidane believed he wasn't. To cut the story short, I'm not sure whether Kuja truly survived or not, but the game did show Zidane shielded his brother, Kuja, from the giant vines protruding around to strike them both.
Years later, Zidane showed up before Garnet, during the show in Alexandria, and proposed to her there and then. I can only hope, like Seifer in FF8 who found solace and peace with himself whilst fishing in the end, that Kuja remains alive.
Oh Garland? Fck him, for toying with lives and meanings, lol
